"Thyme" is an important source of income in this plateau. Thyme is sometimes used as a medicine due to its healing properties and sometimes as a consumption item such as tea and jam. This protected thyme species is under threat due to improper collection. This type of thyme is visualized on the village seal in the Cevizli Bayeri neighbourhood of Efeler Way.
