Sarıyurt/Bayındır

"Yellow Mary", who gave her name to the village, is a blonde, coloured-eyed, virgin female shepherd who is believed to be very beautiful. It is believed that she is the founder and first leader of the village. The name of the village was changed as Sarıyurt in the following years. This female leader, who is believed to be the founder of many villages in Anatolian culture, was visualized for the 'first time' with the Efeler Way village seal. Efeler Way Friendly Establishment in Sarıyurt village is the Çakırcan Kahvesi, which belongs to Tacettin Çakırcan, who is also the mukhtar (chief) of Sarıyurt village.
